Professional wound cleaning, dressing and monitoring by a qualified nurse, for surgical sites, slow healing wounds and everything that should not be managed with a plaster from the chemist.
A wound that is dressed badly heals slowly, scars worse and is far more likely to become infected. Ours are cleaned with sterile technique, dressed with the right product for that stage of healing, and looked at again on a schedule rather than whenever somebody remembers.
We take post surgical sites, diabetic and pressure wounds, burns, and the ones that have simply stopped closing on their own. Dressings are changed as often as the wound needs, not as often as is convenient, and if what we see needs a doctor we will tell you plainly and help you get there.
