Tattoo Removal
Fade it, or lose it entirely.
Laser tattoo removal that shatters the ink into fragments small enough for your body to carry away, session by session, without cutting the skin.
The laser sends very short pulses of light into the skin. Ink absorbs that light and breaks apart, while the skin around it, which does not absorb it the same way, is left alone. Your immune system then clears the fragments over the following weeks, which is why a tattoo keeps fading long after you have left.
It takes a course, not a session. Black goes first and fastest. Greens, light blues and some cosmetic pigments are stubborn, and an old tattoo clears more easily than a fresh one. At consultation we will tell you honestly how many sessions yours is likely to need, and whether full clearance or a fade for a cover up is the more sensible goal.
What it does
Why clients book it
No cutting
Nothing is excised and nothing is stitched, so you are not trading a tattoo for a surgical scar.
Ink only
The pulse is tuned to the pigment, which is what lets the skin around it come through intact.
Fade or clear
A few sessions to lighten it enough for a cover up, or a full course to take it out altogether.
Honest numbers
You are told what your specific ink is likely to need, rather than a number that sounds good in the room.
The session
Exactly what happens
- 15 min01Consultation and patch testWe look at the ink, the depth, the age and your skin, test a small area, and let it settle before a full session is booked.
- 10 min02NumbingAnaesthetic goes on and is given proper time to work before the first pulse.
- 5 to 30 min03The passLength depends entirely on size. A small piece is over in minutes. It reads as a sharp, hot snap rather than a long pain.
- 10 min04Cool and dressThe area is cooled and dressed, and you leave with aftercare that does have to be followed.
